Welcome to 5th Grade! My name is Stacy Anderson and I’m super excited to be teaching 5th grade this year, so bring on the fun...and learning! This year is my 19th year as a full time teacher, although it’s only my ninth year here at Foothills. I taught 6th Grade for 4 years, so I have a great sense of goals that our students need to achieve by the end of the year to be "middle school ready". I also taught 5th grade in Aurora for nearly a decade.

I am originally from Florida, however, I’ve been in Colorado longer than I was ever in Florida, so I consider myself almost a native! I LOVE spending time outdoors: playing, hiking, camping and being with my family in my time off. My husband and I have two kids who have either graduated or are still in Jeffco Public Schools, so I easily understand both the teacher side as well as the parent side of education.
