Three Year Olds

We will read the Children's Gallery Award Books. These are books comparable to the Caldecott books. They have been chosen for the pictures and text. Harding University sponsors a program where students read the books and then vote for their favorite one.

We will also learn the parts of a book: spine, cover, pages. We learn the terms: title, author, and illustrator. We will discuss the jobs of the author and illustrator.
