Math

**Homework this week: students will review the Cumulative Assessment that we are completing in class. End of Year Assessment Wednesday- Day 1/Thursday-Day 2, students may use Cumulative on the test. 

**IXL HW: JJ.1 for extra pra​​ctice and Diagnostic Practice in class. Due Friday morning.

Science

*Unit 7: Rocks and Fossils

This week: *Continue Projects, Lesson 3 

(students may bring items from home for project)

      *IXL: T.2 (We will start it at school, but can finish at home. Due Friday)

Language Arts 

Reading:  Drama / The differences in poetry, prose, and drama  (TEST: May 17 with mentor test) 


Mentor Text - Train to Somewhere by Eve Bunting  (The mentor text/sentence will not be introduced until Wednesday)


Mentor Sentence-  The three of us who are left get back on the train with Miss Randolph. 

Skills: relative pronouns, review of types of sentences and prepositional phrases TEST: May 17


IXL Homework:  - N4 - Read drama - Due Friday, May 10

LL9 - Identify relative pronouns - This will be introduced in class on Wednesday.  This is one of the harder skills, so they have until May 17 to complete this one.  It is not one they will be able to quickly do the night before, so don’t procrastinate on this one! There will not be any time to make it up after the 17th.
