About the Counselor

Hello! My name is Britney Fisher and this is my first year at Jamestown C-I.  I am an Osage High School graduate.  I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Christian Counseling from Central Christian College of the Bible and am currently working on the completion of my Masters Degree in School Counseling with Missouri Baptist University.  Prior to coming to Jamestown, I was the Benton & Eastwood Elementary SEL Interventionist/Counselor in Training with Marshall Public Schools with a ratio of 405 students in grades 2-4 .  I was also the 504 Coordinator for Benton & Eastwood Elementary.  I am a Community Health Worker (CHW-C) and worked with Randolph County in Moberly, MO connecting individuals in the community with resources and needs.  Along with my CHW-C, I hold certifications in SBIRT (Screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment) and SPR (Skills for Psychological Recovery).  My husband, Jason, is a Pastor in Russellville, MO at New Life Russellville. We currently reside in Russellville with our 7 year old son, Jaxton, who is a second grade student here at Jamestown.  Outside of school I enjoy playing piano, baking, fishing with my family, and finding unique items at thrift/antique stores.

The counselor's office is always open to all students and parents. I am available to help with credit and graduation questions, scholarship applications, college information, as well as personal issues that may be affecting student's success. Feel free to call or make an appointment to visit with me. Student's success is my number one priority! You can reach me via phone at 660-849-2141 or via email fisherb@jamestown.k12.mo.us!
