This is a program where students read from a selected list of 12 books that cover a wide variety of genres.  After reading the book, come to the library to have a book chat with Mrs. Masters.  Then you will get a sticker for your Truman Reader card.  

Rewards for reading one Truman each term:

Term 1: $5 Scholastic Book Fair gift certificate 

Term 2: Chick-Fil-A lunch

Term 3: Pizza lunch

Term 4: To Be Decided.....stay tuned! 

If students read 4 or more nominees by the last week of February, they get invited to an Ice Cream Party to vote for the book they liked best and get to pick out several great prizes!

  Students who read 10 of the nominees on the list by February 28th will receive a gift card as well!
