About ITIP

The Instructional Technology Integration Partnership of Ohio (ITIP Ohio) is a non-profit organization created for the purpose of further promoting the use of instructional technologies in Ohio's classrooms. ITIP Ohio works closely with a variety of statewide educational agencies including the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Educational Technology Conference to offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities. These activities are available via online classes, face-to-face trainings, webinars, videoconferences, regional meetings, mini-conferences and the ITIP Ohio website at www.itipohio.org. ITIP Ohio is an ISTE premiere affiliate, SETDA affiliate and a MakeyMakey training partner.

Our cornerstone event, the ITIP Ohio Summit featuring Google for Education is scheduled during May at locations either in Columbus or Sandusky, Ohio. For more information about an upcoming Google Summit, go to www.itipohio.org and follow the conference link along the top banner. Our latest training project, the MakeyMakey Training Collaborative, connects educators with invention literacy training though the use of MakeyMakey devices across Ohio. ITIP Ohio also offers a teacher grant opportunity twice a year for Ohio educators currently integrating technology in their classrooms but needing an extra "boost" to take their teaching to the next level.

ITIP Ohio also creates an informative monthly newsletter filled with articles about the latest technologies, a spotlight on the best uses of technology used in Ohio classrooms, grant opportunities, technology integration ideas, curriculum resources, contests, and professional development opportunities across Ohio.
