Education background:   I attended Fairview Junior High School, as it was called then, until the 10th grade.  At that time, I began high school at Itawamba Agricultural High School, IAHS.  I graduated in 1988 and started my college experience at Itawamba Junior College, now ICC.  Later, I also took some classes from Northeast Mississippi Community College before moving on to Mississippi State University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

Hobbies/Interest: I love spending time with my family, biological and Christian.  I also enjoy reading and solving puzzles.

Family:  I have been happily married to Hollis Buchanan since 1994.  We also have two amazing children: Michael and Hollie.
