Mission Statement
Generation Rx is dedicated to increasing awareness of the growing problem of prescription drug abuse and encourages health care providers, community leaders, parents, youth, and college students to actively work to prevent abuse.
Throughout the year, we hold multiple presentations at local middle schools and high schools about prescription drug abuse and awareness. Every year during the fall and spring, Drug Free Idaho and Generation Rx hold a medication take back day in Boise to collect expired, unused and unwanted medications from the community. On average we collect and remove over 2000 lbs of medication from the community every year!
