Workshop Overview

As part of our on-going support for the implementation of Looking for Learning, Martin Skelton will be coming again to work with ISKL’s teachers.

Learning Outcomes

Martin will give clear focus on defining learning, exploring and monitoring learning. He will be working with the Looking for Learning Leadership Council, modelling and giving feedback. More information will be shared closer to the date.

Martin Skelton

Martin Skelton is the Director of Fieldwork Education and has worked with thousands of teachers, administrators and schools around the world. Mr Skelton designed and was Founding Director of the International Primary Curriculum and continues to be closely involved in its development; he recently directed the development of its Assessment for Learning Programme and designed the Looking for Learning protocol. He is Head of Learning for the WCLS Group of Schools in the US and Qatar and is currently leading the writing of the social studies curriculum for a country in the Middle East. Mr Skelton has contributed to many books and publications; a recent chapter focused on the links between brain research and the development of international mindedness. He was co-founder of primary file publishing, dedicated to providing teachers and administrators with 'practical, accessible and jargon-free' insights into teaching, learning and school leardership.
