Workshop Overview

A small team of Admission Directors have put together a Professional Development opportunity for Admissions, Marketing and Advancement professionals in the South East Asia region and we would like to invite you to attend. Although the workshop is tied to the EARCOS Leadership Conference, you do not need to be a member school or conference participant to attend. We realise that there are often limited funds to pay for PD for Admissions staff so we have kept the cost of the conference as low as possible.

Morning Session - "The Changing Face of the Expatriate in the 21st Century"

Over the last 20 years, as globalization has taken root, corporate mobility programs and the people they move have changed markedly. These changes have direct and significant implications for the schools that serve expatriate communities around the world.

Afternoon Session - "Working Together to Achieve School Advancement"

This will be a Panel Discussion session with Nick Kent (Assistant Head of School, Jakarta IS), Tina Herman (Director of Admissions, IS Beijing), Katie Rigney-Zimmermann (Director of Admissions and Marketing, South Saigon IS), and Jenny Chiang (Assistant Head of School for Advancement, National Cathedral School).
