Mrs. Amanda Abel ~ Mankato West Head Speech Coach

Mrs. Abel came to the Mankato district in 2013 and is currently an English 8 teacher at DMMS and head speech coach for the Scarlets.

She comes to us with 10 years head speech coaching experience from Waseca High school and teaching experience as the former Waseca High School AP, 10th, 11, and 12th grade teacher from 2002-2012.

She is originally from Anoka, MN but moved to Mankato to attend college in 1999. She currently lives in Mankato with her family.

Mrs. Joy Drexler ~ Mankato West Assistant Speech Coach

Mrs. Drexler came to the Mankato district in 2014 and is currently an EL teacher at DMMS and Garfield and the assistant coach for the Scarlets.

She comes to us with 1 year head speech coaching experience from Tri-City United and teaching experience.

She currently lives in New Ulm with her family.
