New School Year

Welcome to the new school year! I am so excited to get started with our journey together. Take a look at the links in the gray line, above. I'll be adding pages in the area of Academics in the coming days. Watch for posts in the blog, too. I'll explain why we have a Split Class and what that means for our third and fourth graders.
I'd like to introduce our student teacher, Ms. Cretens, who will be with us through the first quarter of the school year. You'll meet her at Open House and conferences in October. She'll be working mostly with third graders in academics, but will be managing both classes in transitions and whole-group lessons. She'll be giving out a form for your signature for video recording for her college course, on the first days of school. Here's her bio:
Hello! My name is Maggie Cretens and I will be student teaching in Mrs.Miller’s classroom this fall! I’m currently attending The University of Wisconsin Superior for elementary education with special education and early childhood minors. Outside of the classroom I like to run, cook, read, and do yoga.
