Bio

 Brief Biography of Mr. Schmidt

 I grew up in southern Minnesota and I graduated from Fosston High School in 1985. I attended Moorhead State University (now MSUM), and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies. I earned a Master of Science degree in Teacher Education in 2005 from Bemidji State University. I recently earned a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Coaching and Teacher Leadership from MSUM.                       

I have been teaching social studies at Fosston High School since 1995.

I have been married for 30+ years to my beautiful wife, Kathy.  We have three adult children and three grandchildren.  

My hobbies include reading, working out, riding motorcycle and four wheeler, cheering for the Greyhounds, and hockey!
