Media Arts

This is going to be a challenging class that will prepare you for a post-secondary pursuit. If you're interested in becoming a professional artist, this is the class for you. 

We will be completing intermediate level projects in drawing, painting, as well as learning the "Must Have" programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere as well as Canva, and some Blender (a free web-based animation program) 

I will encourage you to do your best work and I'll be there every step of the way to give you pointers and suggestions on how to improve what you're hoping to achieve.  It's been my experience that I'll be learning new things from you guys as well so l'm excited to get started!

The projects will be listed in Google Classroom so you can see when each assignment is due as well as past assignments. There will also be weekly videos where we learn about well known artists past and present. The quizzes that accompany the videos will also be available in Google Classroom.
