Students will be required to learn and to display classroom instructed safety practices.
Students and I will study and practice safety in the wood shop and surrounding grounds.
Students will learn safe operating practices of every tool that they use, including hand tools and power tools. They will also learn safe procedure and set up of all wood shop stationary tools.
Students will learn to estimate material quantity and costs.
Students will learn to estimate project time and schedule accordingly.
Students will learn proper building practices through corresponding text and tests, also by demonstration and by hands on training.
Students will learn other basic trade skills such as basic electrical, concrete and plumbing.
Students will exhibit proper social interaction with building trade peers and professionals.
