*Tutoring for K-6 grade American Indian Education students is available by Angie Boushee (aboushee@isd601.org) during the hours listed below, and is scheduled with teachers according to specific student need.
Mondays: 8:00am-3:00pm
Tuesdays: 8:00am-3:00pm
Wednesdays: 8:00am-3:00pm
Thursdays: 8:00am-3:00pm
Fridays: 8:00am-3:00pm
All elementary students have an opportunity to use a website called IXL this year! IXL is a comprehensive learning program offering unlimited math practice across thousands of skills--all of which are aligned to MN State Standards. These students may access IXL from any computer (free of charge)!
To get started, please follow these easy steps:
1. Go to the IXL Math site
2. Enter your child's **Username and **Password and click "Sign In"
3. Click on any skill to start learning!
**If you need your child's IXL Username and Password, please contact their classroom teacher for that info.

Ojibwe Dictionary - The Ojibwe People's Dictionary is a searchable, talking Ojibwe-English dictionary that features the voices of Ojibwe speakers. It is also a gateway into the Ojibwe collections at the Minnesota Historical Society. Along with detailed Ojibwe language entries and voices, you will find beautiful cultural items, photographs, and excerpts from relevant historical documents.
New Journeys - Resources for learning Ojibwe (all students)
"Making Camp Ojibwe" - “Making Camp Ojibwe” is a fun and interactive app. In “Making Camp Premium,” players practice multiplication and division skills while learning math problem-solving strategies. They’ll also be introduced to Native American history. PLUS get the completely new words challenges section, an activity randomizer and more. Customize your virtual wigwam inside and out. Earn points by solving math problems, learning about language arts and answering social studies questions in the village-building simulation game.
