Amanda Wiener, MS, CCC-SLP

Ms. Amanda
Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you found me. My name is Amanda and I am the Speech/Language Pathologist at Fosston Public Schools. I work at both Magelssen Elementary School and Fosston High School with children in Preschool through 12th grade who have speech and/or language disorders.

I have been a pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist since 2001 and my true passion is working with children and their families. I have my bachelor's degree in Speech/Language/Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University-Moorhead (go Dragons!) and my master's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. I am licensed through the MN Department of Health, the State of MN Department of Education and am nationally certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) with my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) in Speech/Language Pathology.

The special education department works in tandem with the Area Special Education Cooperative (ASEC) to provide comprehensive education services. My goal at Fosston Public Schools is to make effective communication accessible and achievable for all of our students. If you suspect your child has a communication disorder, please contact your child's school or teacher.
