Hi Families!
Here we go…
This week will be the official start of a brand new type of school for all of us. I know it will be challenging and frustrating at times, but I hope it will also be engaging and fun too. A one page PDF will be sent to you via remind that shows everything we’d like your second grader to attempt this week. Tasks do not need to be done on the day they are listed if another day works better for you but it is best to go in order from left to right in each subject area. Do what you can, when you can.
I will be posting a read aloud or question of the day every day in Google Classroom. Please make sure to do that task daily and mark as done or turn in when you are finished. That will be our “attendance” for each day.
I will be working from home every day except Thursday this week, when I will be at school. I will be on or near my computer as much as I can during school hours but would also like to offer some late afternoon and evening hours for those of you who are away from home during the day. I will be sending a survey in your child’s google classroom to help me learn when you would most likely be working on school from home.
I miss all you kiddos and am excited to connect digitally with these great tools we’ve been practicing in the classroom this year. If you have questions or concerns please contact me through Remind or a private comment in Google Classroom.
Let’s do this!
