I graduated in 1998 from SUU with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I later earned my Early Childhood endorsement and STEAM endorsement.
My first teaching job was at Cedar Middle School where I taught 6th grade for 6 years. Next I opened and operated a preschool for 3 years. Before starting at North Elementary, I taught for an on-line school called Utah Virtual Academy. This will be my seventh year at North Elementary! I absolutely love this school and the students that attend!
I grew up in Richfield Utah but have lived in Cedar City for over 25 years. I love Cedar and plan to spend many more years here.

Foods: Centro Pizza and Pizza Cart, sticky finger salad from Wingers, fresh fruits and veggies
Drinks: water, raspberry tea, and caramel latte

I grew up in New York and moved to Las Vegas with my family during high school.
I graduated in 2001 from UNLV with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I then went on to earn my Master's in Elementary Literacy in 2007 from UNLV.
I taught in Las Vegas for 12 years before moving to Cedar City in 2012. I was a Special Education Aide at Iron Springs Elementary before being hired at North for the 2014 school year.
I have two amazing girls, Hannah (12) and Aubrey (8). My husband and I have been married for 14 years and we love to travel and be with our family in Florida. We adore our addition of Katie Glitter Sparkles, the best kitty around!

Hello! I have been an elementary educator for 19 years. I love working with 2nd graders. I have a BS from UC Berkeley and received my Teaching Credential from JFK University in Orinda, CA. I have studied Spanish at the Masters Level in Salamanca, Spain.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and have live Berkeley, CA, Kona, Hawaii, and Eugene, OR. I love to travel, speak Spanish, paddleboard, hike, make art, play guitar, do yoga, EAT good food, and hang out with friends and family.
My partner, Jason, teaches ceramics at SUU. I have two step-daughters and a 60 pound blue-eyed dog. We are enjoying living in Cedar City!

I graduated in 2016 from SUU with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have a STEM endorsement and I am currently working on my M.Ed. During school, I worked as an America Reads Tutor and gained a ton of great experience with students.
I grew up in Riverton, and moved to South Jordan with my family during high school, where I attended Itineris Early College HS and graduated with my diploma and A.S. in General Studies in the same year. I then moved to Cedar City to attend college, and now I never want to leave! This is my fourth year teaching at North.
I love spending time with my parents, brother, boyfriend, and dog. We go camping, hunting, and fishing as much as we can. We love to travel and see new places!
