Welcome second graders!

Please check out our Google Classroom for virtual instruction as we get rolling. All remote learning assignments will be through our Google Classroom unless otherwise arranged with classroom teacher.

Supply list:

A crayon box that students can leave at school will be needed this year as no materials will be shared with other students. I will provide all other materials to fill the crayon box. You may purchase your own if you would like, but that is not necessary.

Students will also need a backpack, a water bottle (water only please) and sneakers daily for P.E. and outdoor recess.

I am very excited to start this 2nd grade journey with you and look forward to a great year ahead! This year will bring so much new information and we will be studying some very interesting topics. We will be reading more challenging books and trying many new things with writing. In 2nd grade we will be exploring new concepts in Math including adding and subtracting to 1,000! In science we will be studying matter, plants and animals and land forms. Our classroom community will be studied and used to explore other communities around the world.
