Effective SearchingA story told with Adobe Spark

8th grade students are beginning to research human rights violations and civil rights movements. A Human Rights Summit will occur in the LMC so students can showcase their research via show boards, verbal presentations, and public service announcements. Products for students researching civil rights will will include slides with a thesis, information, pictures and a link to an essay.

April 2019

8th graders completed their work on a Digital Earth project and shared their findings using various media platforms. Their work was amazing! There were podcasts and videos and dance moves and so much more!

8th graders discovered the various aspects of a specific career using the featured resources. They compiled their research and presented speeches to their classmates.

6th graders discovered our district databases and how they are reliable sources that have already been evaluated for credibility. Students searched topics related to their unit of study featuring the novel Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen.
