Thanks for visiting! I started teaching NV Social Studies in the fall of 2001. Watching the Twin Towers fall with my students in September of that year cemented the importance of understanding history in our changing world. Teaching U.S. History and AP U.S. History allows me to share my passion, and cultivate a passion for the past in my students. Our Social Studies courses at Neuqua Valley are centered around illuminating the subject matter through growing student skills in reading, document analysis, prediction, summary, and inference...all skills that will help students to be participatory and successful citizens of the world. I hope that you will enjoy partnering with me this year!
