Hawaiian Fishponds: Chronology and Structure

Hawaiian fishponds (loko ia) were designed to augment natural features and components of Hawaiian ecosystems. Survey of fishpond qualities will be compared to excavation and geoarchaeological data generated from the investigation of a fishpond on Maui that has been dated to the 13th-18th centuries AD.
