In 2020 the Deep History of Sea Country project team published the discovery of two underwater archaeological sites in Murujuga Sea Country (Dampier Archipelago), Western Australia. Further lab analysis and field-based observations have since been undertaken, and these contribute to our understanding of the broader setting within this rich cultural landscape which is now officially UNESCO World Heritage. This presentation also includes new material from two previously unpublished sites discovered in 2025 by scientific divers.
