Celebration of World Philosophy Day on 15th November, 2018 at 09:30 A.M. in the College Auditorium: Programme
Students are hereby informed that Online Feedback submission for B.A. (H) Philosophy is scheduled on 31st October, 2018 in L-29 as per the following details: Ist Year - 10:30-10:50 A.M.; IInd Year - 10:50-11:30 A.M.; and IIIrd Year - 11:30-12:00 P.M.
Students are requested to verify the details of top scorers' and university position holders for the examination May/June 2018 on Result Analysis page of the Department Web portal; and inform about discrepancies, if any to Dr. Neela Manocha by 28th October, 2018.
Semester V students are invited to apply for the Outstanding/All Round Excellence Award/College Excellence Award at the college level. The last date of submission of forms is 28th October, 2018. Following parameters will be considered as the criterion for judgement - Academics, Sports, and any one of ECA or Community Services for All Round Excellence Award; Academics, and any one of ECA or Community Services for College Excellence Award. Semester III students are hereby informed that the topic of class test for Applied Ethics paper is on Human Rights (instead of Euthanasia).
Semester V students are hereby informed that in view of Student Paper Presentation on 09th October, 2018; the dates of Assignment of DSE Philosophy of Mind paper will now be 29th and 31st October, 2018. The topic of the Assignment is on Descartes Sixth Meditation (instead of Behaviorism).

B.A. (H) GEC, Semester III students are hereby informed that the class test of Feminism paper scheduled to be held on 04th October, 2018 will now be held on 06th October, 2018.
Notice regarding Students' Attendance Data for the period 21 July - 15 September, 2018
Semester I students are hereby informed that they are required to attend the GEC Orientation by Department of Multimedia and Mass Communication on 18th September, 2018 at 09:30 A.M. in the Auditorium, for information regarding correct GEC option and enabled decision.

Semester III and V students are requested to fill online exam form on or before 15th September, 2018. Hard copy of filled exam forms along with fee receipt and latest mark sheet have to be submitted in the College Admin Office by the students by Monday, 17 September, 2018.
Students are hereby informed that the re-election of Philosophy Association for the post of President will be held on 12th September, 2018 from 09:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Department Room. The results will be declared at 02:30 P.M. on the same day.
Students are requested to submit their achievements (academic, extra-curricular, sports, others) with a covering letter to Teacher in-charge Dr. Supriya Saha on a regular basis, as and when it happens.

It may be noted that it is compulsory for all students to attend the orientation.
