E-CELL: Interested students may get membership
I am happy to share with you that on 17 October 2019, the College announced the creation of an E-Cell, to encourage women entrepreneurs from the College community to come together with their ideas and projects. The E-Cell will function as an incubator and facilitator of entrepreneurship. The IQAC will take this forward.
Primarily, this move is in pursuit of a possible collaboration with Indira Gandhi Delhi Technological University for Women (IGDTUW). The Delhi Govt. supports women entrepreneurs through the IGDTUW for any enterprise of which the majority share is held by women. There is also possibility of internship.
In view of this possibility, the College is in a position to extend the E-Cell membership to not only students but also faculty and not-teaching staff and their family members, and alumnae, subject to the condition that the majority holdings rest with women. Naturally, the members interested in availing the expertise, facilities and financial support offered by the E-Cell of IGDTUW would have to comply with the applicable rules and regulations.
I invite interested students and other community members from across disciplines and domains to send their names for membership, by Thursday, 31 October 2019, so that we can take this forward with IGDTUW.
Kindly post this on your department / society portals for wide circulation and activate your CGPC representatives. This mail is copied to all target groups / departments of the College.
