TurboTax is known as a reliable tax preparation software. With which you can easily file your income tax return without any hassle. It provides accurate tax results, and gives you support options if you get audited by the IRS.
Licence code : To complete the installation, you’ll need to enter the 16-digit licence code you received when you purchased TurboTax.
Online purchases : The licence code will be emailed to you upon completion of your purchase
In-store/retail purchases : You’ll find the licence code in the TurboTax CD envelope
How do I download my software from turbotax.ca/download ?
Once you have received an order confirmation for your purchase, you can follow these instructions to download your TurboTax software :
Go to Access my downloads and sign in with the same user ID that you used to purchase your software.
On your TurboTax account, select the Downloads tab.
Select the version you want to download and save it somewhere on your computer where you can find it.

Install your software by double-clicking on the downloaded file.

How do I install TurboTax ?
Before you start - review the system requirements :
Click on the link turbotax.ca/download for the TurboTax product you purchased
The installer is downloaded to your computer, and the installer window appears on the screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions, click Next to proceed with the process.
On the Ready to Install screen, select Install.
Once the installation is complete, select Launch TurboTax.
The Enter License Code window appears.
Enter your license code and follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I set a return password at Turbotax.ca/download ?
If you are currently a user of turbotax.ca/download, you may choose to add a password to your return to better protect your information and privacy. Before doing this, you need to keep a few things in mind :
Once you have set a password on the return, you cannot re-open the tax return without entering your password first
TurboTax support can't unlock your password-protected returns, so be sure to save your passwords in a safe place
To transfer a password-protected return for the current year to your return, you must remove the password before importing it. Once this is done, you can reapply your password in Return -
To add a password :
If you are in Easy Step mode, switch to Forms view by selecting Forms from the menu.
From the File menu, choose Set Password.
Enter a password and select Save.
Re-enter your password and select Confirm.
