Tournament Rules
All teams participants must read and understand all tournament rules prior to fishing.
No guides allowed to enter, provide transportation or knowledge to any team in tournament.
Live or artificial baits are allowed and there are NO boundaries on the permitted fishing waters.
Fishing by means of land, surf, jetty, pier, boat, or any legal means of fishing is acceptable. However, no sail lines or trot lines shall be permitted.
Teams must stay within a line of sight distance while fishing.
Fishing begins 30 minutes before official sunrise Saturday, April 27th, and all anglers must be in the weigh-in line by 4 pm or their catch will not be counted.
All fish to be weighed in must be caught during tournament hours on the day of the tournament.
Fishing categories will include:
Heaviest Stringer (2 Redfish and 2 Drum for the team) 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
Cash Pot Categories:
Heaviest Redfish (Individual)
Heaviest Flounder (Individual)
Redfish with the Most Spots
The official weigh-in will take place at the park next to the Ingleside Public boat ramp from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm.
All Redfish must be 20-28 inches to qualify.
All Drum must be 14-30 inches to qualify.
Note: *A red over the tournament length specified above will be automatically disqualified.

Note: *Once a team brings their stringer of fish (4 or less) to the weigh master, they will not be allowed to substitute or replace any of the designated fish on the stringer. In other words, pick your stringer and that's what you have to stick with once you're at the weigh in table.
Fish can be weighed in alive or dead. The weigh master will monitor dead fish for freshness.
The weigh master will have the final say in all matters concerning the weigh-in.
Prizes will be awarded to heaviest weight, NOT LENGTH.
In the event of a tie, overall length will prevail.
All Texas Parks and Wildlife, Coast Guard, and Federal laws must be abided by in this tournament.
The tournament director has final say in all disputes over rule violations and tournament questions.
