Part of the purpose of Pagan Pride is education of the public and ourselves. Through this education we are able to share our knowledge, grow and continue to bring understanding to the community.

Workshop Title: Vocal Magick, an Introduction
Presenter: Rev Bill Duvendack
Description: It may seem daunting to control your reality, but what if I told you the beginning step is speech control, and often times it is enough to get you started? In this presentation, I will share concepts to make this happen that have been extracted from my book of the same name, and we will discuss challenges that come with it, as well as what you can expect.

Workshop Title: Introduction to Chaos Magick
Presenter: James L. Wilber
Description: A history and explanation of basic chaos magick theory and practice. The workshop includes basic group rituals in banishing and sigil creation.

Workshop Title: How to Make Home Mead
Presenter: Zao Nephalem
Description: How-to, tools, and supplies for making mead at home in a pickle jar. Participants are encouraged to bring their own notebook and pen/pencil.

Workshop Title: The History of Contemporary Paganism
Presenter: Rachael D. Smith, M.A.
Description: There is much debate over the issue of Paganism today and the Paganism practiced by the ancients. Many argue the Paganism practiced today is not the same as the old ways and they may not be wrong. This workshop will focus on how Contemporary Paganism crossed the pond into the United States and what has happened to the practice since the 1960s. Covering the emergence of well known Pagans such as Raymond Buckland, Scott Cunningham, Oberon Raven-Heart Zell, and his wife, Morning Glory, as well as diving into the LGBT groups, such as the Radical Fairies, this workshop will survey our history to examine where we need to go from here.

Workshop Title: Introduction to Rune Magic
Presenter: J. Thorson
Description: In this workshop, attendees will learn the basics of Rune Magic - History, Theory, and Practice. Participants will ink a rune for themselves, and work together to charge them.

Workshop Title: SafeZone Training: Being a Better LGBTQ Ally
Presenter: Mysty Mayhem
Description: SafeZone is a visible network of volunteers who are committed to creating an environment of respect and dignity for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals within their communities.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the many spectrums of LGBTQ identity, how LGBTQ members of the pagan community may be made to feel unwelcome, and how to take action when faced with an unwelcoming atmosphere
