Children and the Reign of God. A revision and expansion of my 2013 book.

The Single Savior. An examination of the history behind the celibate behavior of Jesus and some of his contemporaries.

Dr. Murphy is a long time member of the Society of Biblical Literature. He has delivered numerous papers and invited lectures and participated in panel discussions. He participated in excavations at Banias, Israel in 1996 and 1999 under Vassilios Tzaferis with the late Professor Emeritus LaMoine DeVries of Missouri State University.
