The central theme of the lab is to establish and translate an Integrated Biophotonics approach for imaging and disease diagnosis. These methods can serve as a tool for global analysis ranging from morphology to the overall biochemical dynamic equilibrium. By utilizing a diverse array of spectroscopic modalities along with advanced proteomics and rigorous analytical tools, the intrinsic molecular alterations and latent information about different pathological conditions can be objectively elucidated with high sensitivity and specificity.
