Experienced Data Scientist with high passion for Artificial Intelligence.
I got my Ph.D. degree in 2019 from Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Anubha Gupta. Before it, I graduated from NIT Jalandhar with B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2013.
At present, I work as a Senior AI/ML Research Scientist at Synopsys Inc. India. I actively conducts AI-related research. I have co-authored several research papers published in renowned journals and conferences which have about 150+ citations. My research is focused on designing and developing NLP, Computer Vision and Machine Learning based solutions for businesses. I have a couple of years of academic and industrial experience of developing artificial intelligence solutions to different problems spanning diverse application domains. I have strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills along with quick learning abilities. I have also been leading academic research collaborations and have mentored ~20+ students. I am able to distinguish between solving well-defined problems for cutting-edge research and, carefully re-defining open-set problems to maximize marginal utility for industrial production.
