Children exhibit negative behaviors when they feel out of balance at the deepest core of themselves - that is, when they have lost touch with themselves. This makes them feel unsafe, lost, confused, and isolated. It is this imbalance and lack of safety that manifests as negative and worrisome behaviors that we are seeing through rise in discipline issues at schools and increase in crime rate. With the Values Plus Program, we address these deepest issues. We make children understand what’s going on inside them, what values are being compromised as a result of various external influences and what’s causing the internal confusion for them. Children undergo practical training via simulated life scenarios so that they are better equipped to deal with life's challenges.
They are trained to look at issues and deal with them the actual way a human being with higher intelligence has to.

Values Plus Program is more than just another curriculum. It is a framework for navigating through one’s values, connections and experiences throughout one’s life. This encompasses various skill sets. These skills sets provide a strong anchor to a child’s core values and leads them through a trajectory of social competence, confidence, and success.
When children lack self-esteem, their relationships suffer.
When children lack self-respect, their success and resilience suffers.
When children lack self-regulation their behavior suffers.
Some of the activities that form part of the Values Plus Program are Arts and Crafts, Culture and Heritage, Drawing and Painting, Values Olympics, Music, Dance, Musical Instruments, Mindfulness Yoga and the like. Quizzes, Debates, Writing and Speech contests, Drama and Expressive Art are regular events and activities of the Values Plus Program. Conflict Resolution, Anger and Emotions Management (Self-Regulation), Relationship Building, Positive Thinking, Reasoning Power, Resilience, Self-Esteem and Confidence, Selflessness and other skill-sets are imbibed through various simulated classes and scenarios.
Through the Values Plus Program, we help children see nature’s beauty, experience transcendence, and appreciate the timeless truths of various cultures. Children are taken on value-trips (field trips) to experience the subtle natural excellences. Children also get to experience open-air classrooms in the serenity of nature like the time-tested Gurukul systems. Unfortunately, the mundane and material aspects, though important, have assumed too huge a place in modern life, leaving a thirst for “real meaning of life” that is often difficult to satisfy. Values Plus quenches this thirst.

Classes
Classes
Children are divided into classes based on their ages. Currently kids as young as 3 start at Values Plus Program. Content is specially designed for each age group by experienced facilitators and professionals and has been well acclaimed by all parents.
3-5 years ---> Aristotles
6-8 years --->Bertrand Russells
9-11 years ---> Einsteins
The first practical value the young children of the Values Plus program learn is the value of life. With this, they go on to learning how to deal with a situation when a kid hits another. Another big concept learnt is Values Vs. Peer pressure. With the strong learnings from the Values Plus program, they easily learn how to conquer various vices. The 9-12 year program especially focuses on strong foundation for college students and gives them the strength and confidence they need to face the biggest challenges and pressures that come their way. The best part is children learn to hold on to these values as they progress through their lives. That is the value of the values taught at Values Plus!

Role of the facilitators
Values Plus Program boasts of highly qualified facilitators who bring their passion and love for children to every single session. The key elements of the Values Plus program are to encourage one to tread a path of knowledge, a path of self-development and a path that energizes the individual’s own spiritual powers. The facilitators of the Values Plus Program imbibe this philosophy so that they have the ability to mentor every child to find their life goals with greater assurance and clarity. The goal of every teacher is to help children develop skills and raw material in order to live to the fullest and realize their potential as human beings - all this with love and affection. Teaching each child with love and a firm belief that every child is special, demands that the teacher be willing to work relentlessly with his/her own will. Values Plus has such facilitators who are selflessly committed to this mission of the program.
Future
Very soon, Values Plus Foundation is planning on inviting in subject matter experts from all walks of the society to provide additional inputs and guidance for children.
Today, the US is seeing an unprecedented growth in multiple dimensions. To make this growth sustainable for generations to come, the agents of this growth ie., this generation of children need to be firmly fixed on the values, ideals and principles that are non-negotiable in personal, familial, professional and social circumstances.
