About Me

I absolutely love being a 3rd grade teacher! I have always felt that this age group is where a lot of "magic" happens. It was my favorite grade when I was in school and I feel so blessed that I get to teach this age group.

Professionally, this year will be my 26th year of teaching third grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary. I have my bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University in Elementary Education and am certified in the state of Pennsylvania. I consider my classroom to be a very active one and I am extremely passionate about engaging the students in their learning. One of the strongest assets that I bring to my classroom is my love for technology. I integrate it as much as possible in the curriculum and use it as a tool to communicate with parents very frequently. I do this through an app called Class Dojo.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Roxborough. I was baptized at St. Bridget's Church. I went to Holy Family grade school and Hallahan High School. I currently live in Eagleville with my husband, Robbie, and our furry baby, Dusty! In my spare time I love to do arts and crafts, work on the computer, and hang out with my family!
