IEMENTech 2021 is annually organized by Dept. of E.C.E. since 2017. Previous editions of IEMENTech 2020, 2019, 2018 & 2017 were successfully organized and all the papers were published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

The 2nd International Conference on Electronics, Materials Engineering and Nano-Technology (IEMENTech 2018) was organized by Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of IEM, Kolkata, at IEM Gurukul Campus, College More, Saltlake, Kolkata, West Bengal during May 4th-5th, 2018. The scientific deliberations of the conference covered diversified topics on Electronics, Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology.

The dignitaries of national and international repute addressed the faculty members, researchers and the students. The keynote speakers whose presence made the conference a grand success were Dr. Masahiro Fujita (University of Tokyo), Dr. Samit Kumar Ray (SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences), Dr. Subhash Bhalla (University of Aizu) and Dr. Nil Ratan Bandyopadhyay (IIEST , Shibpur).

About 101 papers were accepted out of 180 submitted papers and all the contributed papers were presented in the technical sessions which were published in the conference compendium. The accepted papers will be published in IEEE digital explore. The valedictory session was graced by Dr. Saikat Maitra (Vice-Chancellor, MAKAUT) who awarded the best paper award for national and international category to the deserving authors.

IEEE IEMCON 2017 provided an opportunity for researchers, educators and students to discuss and exchange ideas on issues, trends, and developments in Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication. The conference aimed to bring together scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds to emphasize dissemination of ongoing research in the fields of in Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication. The conference included a peer-reviewed program of technical sessions, special sessions, business application sessions, tutorials, and demonstration sessions. All accepted papers were presented during the parallel sessions of the Conference and papers were submitted for publication at IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The keynote speakers were Prof. Monica Lam (Carnegie Mellon University), Prof. Robert Raussendorf (Ludwig Maximilians University), Prof. Pierre Larochelle (University of California), Prof. Lutz Sparowitz (Technical University of Graz), Dr. Goutam Chattopadhyay (NASA-Jet Propulsion Laboratory), Prof. Uwe Glässe (Simon Fraser University), Prof. Detlef Streitferdt (Technische Universität Ilmenau), Prof. Nan Wang (California State University), Prof. Babak Esfandiari (Carleton University), Dr. Andrew Park (Thompson Rivers University) and Dr. Yasser Morgan (University of Regina). The conference has a paper acceptance ratio around 37%, the total number of papers received being more than 362, accepted and presented papers sums up to 134.

IEMECON 2017 provided an opportunity for researchers, educators and students to discuss and exchange ideas on issues, trends, and developments in Information technology, Electromechanical and Microelectronics Engineering. The conference aimed to bring together scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds to emphasize dissemination of ongoing research in the fields of in Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering.The conference included a peer-reviewed program of technical sessions, special sessions, business application sessions, tutorials, and demonstration sessions. All accepted papers were presented during the parallel sessions of the Conference and papers have been submitted for publication at Springer Digital Library.Researchers and Scientists from almost 40 nations, from every corner of the globe starting from Canada, USA, India, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Taiwan, Germany, Bangladesh and other countries participated enthusiastically by submitting their research papers. The conference has a paper acceptance ratio around 33%, the total number of papers received being more than 356, accepted and presented papers sums up to 135.
