Students get daily homework once a week and it will be collected and graded on the last day of the week. Homework from the previous night is checked for completion. The check is worth 1 point and cannot be turned in late. On the last day of the week, students will be quizzed on the topic that the homework was on. If the student does not have their homework, they cannot take the homework quiz and can return the homework late for a 10% penalty.
Grades are 50% assignments and 50% assessments. Students may retake assessments by completing the practices and turning in a request to retest. Classwork and homework cannot be redone.
Students will often get classwork to practice the skills that are introduced in class. Classwork is due at the end of the hour. It is expected that students work during class and turn in their work at the end of the hour. Classwork is not accepted late.
