About Mrs. Hardin

Alaska

I started teaching at Hunt ISD in 2000. I graduated from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and my specialization was social studies - U.S. history, political science, and geography. I added English to my certification in Texas, and taught English for fourteen years before switching to teaching only social studies in 2014-2015 school year. Now I'm teaching some English again.

I have lived on both coasts and in the middle of the the U.S. I have been to forty-eight out of the fifty states - including Alaska and Hawaii. My favorite is Alaska (although, I haven't been there in the winter, so that might change it). I love the outdoors and spend time there with the Boy Scouts, as my son is a Scout.

Yes, that is a real moose in the background.

No, it isn't alive. (but it used to be!) We were touring a replica of a Native Alaskan village.
