Welcome to the Preschool 3 and 4 year old class. In this multi-age class, we will be having large group activities together. Instruction for small group activities will be taught accordingly not by age, but based on skill-readiness comprehension level.

 Whether it is their first experience in a structured group setting or they have been in a preschool/childcare setting for a few years, this class is a crucial time for the children to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.

The Voyages curriculum is Bible-based. Each week, the children learn a different Bible lesson and Bible verse. We also do a Bible-based activity to go along with it.  

Our class motto is "Kind hands, kind words and kind heart."  Our class joins the HTLS family for chapel weekly.

The Scott-Foresman Reading Street is used for our literacy curriculum. Literacy time is designed with individual needs in mind.  Daily development is fostered in phonemic awareness, oral language, listening, motor and cognitive skills.  

Math concepts are developed using hands-on activities, daily calendar, and other practical applications of mathematics.  

Free-choice time involves activities within specific areas including blocks, art, math, science, music and reading.  These activities compliment our theme of the week and are designed to allow for individual learning time.

We also include outdoor play, music, science, art, and  library in our weekly routine.  

Schedule  Options:

5 days (Monday-Friday)

3 days (Monday-Wednesday-Friday)

2 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Class Hours

8 AM-3 PM

 Morning care and Extended care are offered 7AM - 5:30PM for students who need to be dropped off early/picked up late.
