This is my 11th year at Hudsonville High school. I student taught here with Herr Janssen in 2010. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science from Aquinas college double majoring in German and Math. I am certified to teach German K-12 and Math 6-12. I have my Master's of Education in Instruction and Curriculum Development from Marygrove College. I am originally from the other side of the state, right outside of Detroit, called Ferndale. I am the second oldest of five children. All of my family is currently on the other side of the state and cannot fathom how I could leave them... I simply tell them, "I love my job and I LOVE being a Hudsonville Eagle."

I got married in the summer of 2011. Zosia, which is polish for "Sophia" was born the following year in August. Lilly, our second, was born in June of 2014 the week after school got out. Ezekiel is the newest addition to our family. He was born February 18, 2017.

I also am the advisor for Student Council.
