HCSD's list of Approved Apps is listed on the district technology website. It can be found here as well as on HCSD's Classlink Launchpad.
EdLaw 2D prohibits us from allowing students to go on their "Additional Applications" freely. One of the biggest ones is YouTube. Fear not! You can still share videos with the students! Click here for the ways you can share.
Model Schools has also created a website showing teachers how to embed and share other tools that they may have used in the past (translate, maps, and arts & culture to name a few). Click here to see their informative videos!
Websites with read-alongs, how-to draw, movements, and more- all embedded and approved for student viewing!

Professional Learning Badges (PLBs!) help teachers focus on relevant professional learning opportunities because they support personalized learning. Rather than the old model in which professional development is offered in a seminar or lecture setting, teachers can choose the learning they want to pursue based on what will be most relevant to them and their students.
Previously, it was a requirement to complete the Level 1 badges before going on to Level 2. But, due to the level of techiess of our teachers, there is no longer a requirement for completing Level 1!
