It is with a bit of sadness that I write this newsletter. My last newsletter of this year and of my teaching career. I have so many wonderful memories of this school year and all the prior ones I have experienced at Holy Infant. It has been a fantastic school for my children, who all graduated from here, and for me. I have enjoyed all my years with my teaching partner, Mrs. Lenger, and will miss our talks each day. I couldn't have asked for a better school and neither can you!!!

I will look forward to continue to see my students at mass. I wish them to '"bee the best they can bee". They have all grown so much this year academically, socially, and in their faith. It has been a crazy year and they adjusted to it all. Now, it's time to turn them over to their second grade teacher. Mrs. Lenger and I have tried to place them with the class that will work best for them.

I sent home a dry erase board with some good math review sheets they can use to help review skills over the summer. Daily reading is essential to help maintain and build skills, too.

I am truly blessed. Thank you for this very thoughtful gift for my retirement and end of school year gift. I absolutely love it!

Thanks also for all the nice words and gifts I received. You are all so kind and thoughtful. I greatly appreciate each and every one.

We are all retiring--Mrs. Carel, Mrs. McLafferty, and Mrs. Sullivan. Every day will be Saturday!!!

Prayer to say with your child each day.

Jesus, you love me so much that you were willing to suffer and die on the cross for me. Thank you! Make my love for you and for all my brothers and sisters grow stronger every day. I want to always think, act, and speak as you would Help me to spread the peace and joy of your resurrection everywhere I go! Amen

May God continue to watch over your children and your family. Thank you, good-bye, and God Bless!

God be with you,

Mrs. Nieman
