2/3 Library
Welcome to the 2/3 Library! Second and Third graders have a Library Special Rotation on an A-F six day schedule. Second graders will be coming 1st Trimester and Third graders are the 3rd Trimester. Students are encouraged to stop by on open checkout periods. The Library Special involves lessons in Digital Citizenship, Catalog searching, Research, Genre exploration and Literature appreciation. There is time in each 45 minute period for book selection/catalog searching and STEM center activities. We have Bee Bot robots, Snap Circuits, Legos, Keva planks, Magna-Tiles, Tumble Trax, as well as other makerspace activities as well.

Our collection features over 11, 000 titles that inspire students to explore new subjects, new authors or favorite stories that they treasure. We have thousands of nonfiction titles that help to support our curriculum and reference sources as well. We subscribe to several databases that are accessible through our Accessit Library Catalog or student's Clever log in.
