Using this Web Site
Parents and students alike can use this web site to keep up with class assignments and activities.
On each web page are links to a course homework calendar which will be updated at the end of each school day. By simply selecting the homework page for the course/class in which the student is enrolled, you will be connected to the appropriate homework calendar. This agenda/unit plans will have both major, long-term projects and shorter, daily assignments. The calendar will indicate which set of plans to look at and which day to consult for homework assignments and in-class activities.
Course Philosophy
In class students not only consider important events, we also connect these events to contemporary phenomena. Through a wide variety of in-class and homework activities, students are encouraged to freely express their understandings of course material and critically examine ideas and events. I hope that each student puts forth their best effort to understand how course topics relate to trends in today’s society and their own lives.
