I am excited to get to know your child better and work with them as we progress through Indian Hill and prepare to move on to Satz next year!

This will be my 11th year teaching at Indian Hill School and my eighth year teaching Grade 6 Literacy and Social Studies. I LOVE to read and write and hope to pass this on to every student I teach. I also love history, travel, and learning about ancient cultures so our Social Studies curriculum is exciting for me to teach!

On a personal note, I have 4 adult children of my own who manage to still keep me on my toes and laughing most of the time! I love to travel, go to live concerts, RUN! and talk about all of the above! I also talk about my kids A LOT so you will definitely hear stories coming home with your kiddos!

Whatever comes our way this year we will handle it and move forward together. Please help me in doing this as together we can accomplish great things! You will hear a common theme throughout the year- READ!! Practice makes perfect, right?? So please read with your child, to your child, have them read to anyone or anything!! I run with a group of crazy people from all over the country - we come together at least once a year to run 200ish miles together over the course of about 36 hours- and the motto of the races is just this-

TOGETHER WE CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!
