I am so excited to meet you this year! This is my 25th year teaching at Indian Hill!  I love reading and writing and I hope this year in 5th grade you will grow as a reader and fall in love with some really good books!

While I spend my time teaching you from September to June, during the summer you can find me in the pool teaching preschoolers how to swim!  I love to be outside during the summer and teaching swimming fulfills my love of teaching and the outdoors. I am married and have 2 children. My son turned 21  this summer and  my daughter began her 2nd year at The University of South Carolina.  

 As a family, we enjoy spending time together at the beach, playing board games and watching movies. 

This is going to be a great year!
