We will be reading and focusing on a story each week and have vocab and comprehension assessments on Friday.  Vocab words will come home on Mondays to study! This week’s story is The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree.  We will be talking about drawing conclusions. 

We will be talking about subject/verb agreement this week. 

We are starting Topic 3.  This topic deals with more multiplication facts! Please continue to practice your multiplication facts so that you can gain your Multiplication Mastery! 

We are doing some Christmas themed science experiments in class!

We will be starting concept 63.  This concept deals with the oi oy diphthong.  Students have an info page at the front of their binder to help them practice this concept throughout the week.  We will have a pretest over words that use this concept on Thursday.  Final test is on Friday.  If your child gets a 100%, they do not have to take the final test on Friday!
