There are 4 groups in our music club: School band, School Choir, Chinese Orchestra, String Orchestra and string classes. We provide a wide varieties for students to learn music so that students can develop aesthetics values and generic skills. Moreover, we hold Class concerts, Singing contest for students to show their talents.
Band
The Hong Kong Chinese Women’s Club College School Band was founded in 1987.
Through being members of the School Band, students can develop their team spirit, self-discipline, concentration, and musical talents.
Our School Band not only performs regularly in our school’s special events, but we also actively participate in public competitions, performances, and interflows with other Bands from anywhere around the world.
We were awarded the first prize in the Hong Kong School Musical Festival Secondary School Band Event in 1995.
We had interflows with Singapore Regent Secondary School in 2005, Bedok North Secondary School, and Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School in 2007.
We also participated in the variety show organized by the Hong Kong Soong Ching Ling Goldkey Training Foundation in 2005.
We took part in The Beijing Music Festival, Tai Nan Music Interflow, and the exchange program with Singapore Swiss Cottage College in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
We held a 30th-anniversary concert in City Hall in July 2017.
Our music director is Mr Lee Shu Sing.
Our conductors are Mr. Lee Shu Sing and Cheung Ho Sing.
The teacher in charge is Miss Chui Tsan Ling.
中樂團
香港中國婦女會中學的中樂小組成立至今已有10年。
由一班熱愛中樂的同學組成，他們希望透過音樂的力量，將中國國粹展現在觀眾眼前。
過去曾參加由音統處舉辦的中樂比賽，取得銀和銅獎。
指揮是黎家棣先生。
Choir
Through being members of the School Choir, students can develop their singing
technique, team-spirit, self-discipline, concentration and musical talents.Our choir
not only performs regularly in our school’s special events, but we also actively

String Orchestra
String Orchestra has been set up for 5 years.
Through being members of the String Orchestra, we can sharpen our technique and
develop team spirit. We participate in different interflows and performances actively.
Our Conductor is Mr. Chan Sze Wah, Leo.
String Class
Since there is an increase of number students who are interested in playing string instruments.
We provide 6 Violin classes and 2 Cello classes for new learners.
Hope students can learn music happily and develop their interest.
