About Me
Hello! Mrs. Marshall here - welcome to my class website. I have been working for Highland High School since 2015 as a Moderate Needs Intervention Specialist. Teaching is a second career for me. I graduated from Cleveland State with a B.A in Journalism and worked in the news business. In 2009, I obtained my Bachelor's Plus teacher licensure as a K-12 Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist. I also have a reading endorsement and am certified in Wilson Reading. In 2016, I graduated from Ashland University with my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and most recently received my Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Kent State University.
Some leadership roles I take on here at Highland High School is the Assistant Speech and Debate Coach, Kiwanis Student of the Month Advisor, and Unified Sports Assistant.
I have a husband named Dave and three children (David, Autumn and Demi). I am passionate about music, movies, teaching, and my family. In my spare time, I love reading, going out to eat, running and watching Netflix.
I look forward to a productive and engaging school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
