My name is Josh Stanton. I have been the high school mathematics teacher at Highland Schools since 2011. I grew up in Cobb, WI, and graduated from Iowa - Grant High School in 2004. I worked at Sub-Zero Freezer Co. from 2004-2006. I attended college from 2006-2011 at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where I earned my degree in Mathematics in Secondary Education while working at Cummins Emissions Solutions, Rural Route 1, and Lands' End.
I married my wife Elsa in 2009 and we currently live in Fennimore. We have two daughters, Brooklyn and Carli. Brooklyn was born in 2012 and Carli in 2015. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful daughters. I am a huge sports fan and love helping coach football. I also enjoy playing softball, volleyball, and kayaking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
I truly enjoy being part of the Highland Schools. The students and staff here make Highland such a special place to work.
