Hampton High School
Congratulations to the Hampton Middle School boys basketball team for their continued success. As a result of the sectional games in Murfreesboro being played this weekend, the games originally set for Friday with Cloudland are now scheduled for Thursday night at the original start times. The senior ball players and cheerleaders will be recognized after the girls varsity game. FFA's bean supper has been changed to Thursday night from 4 til 7p.m. Tickets are $5 and includes a full meal. Best wishes to the local teams representing Carter County.

School History
The school was originally built during the 1940s. The building was destroyed by fire during the late 1950s, and was replaced by the current building in 1960. Forty years later a new band building, a new stadium and a new vocational-studies building were built.
